Premium Cigar Association Announces Three New Board Members

The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) held elections for its volunteer Board of Directors and confirmed the election of three new board members, along with the re-election of two incumbents, to serve three-year terms beginning after general membership approval.

The PCA election process took place as part of the association’s governance and will be finalized upon ratification by PCA members at the PCA 2026 Trade Show in New Orleans, United States, on April 16, 2026.

Elected to the PCA Board were:

  • Paul Copeland — Shore Thing Cigars (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.)
  • Michael Frey — CigarBox (Las Vegas)
  • Brandon HayesRenegade Cigars (Richardson, Texas)
    Re-elected members were:
  • Christian EiroaCLE Cigar Co.
  • Teresa Wessling — Georgetown Tobacco (Washington, D.C.)
    These new members fill seats vacated by Joshua Evarts, Jessica Hutson and Angela Yue.

The nomination and proxy voting process was open to active PCA members, with candidates required to maintain active status and complete formal nomination procedures. Nominations closed on December 31, 2025, and voting occurred January 12–16, 2026.

What it means for the industry

The Board of Directors of PCA plays a pivotal role in steering the association’s strategic priorities, including trade show programming, member services and advocacy efforts at state and federal levels. Board elections reflect governance continuity and membership engagement within a key U.S. trade group serving the premium cigar retail and manufacturing sectors.

The election results require final approval by the PCA general membership on April 16, 2026, during the PCA 2026 Trade Show in New Orleans, United States.
